what would you want it to do???  we have posted here several times how to add facebook like or post to twitter type buttons…

Perhaps it is not only the buttons Sharon was thinking of.

When I read it – I thought, man I would love to use a plugin, that would post topics from a wp-simple-press-forum to a facebook-page, like it is possible to do with regular blog-posts in WP with plugins such as:

hmmm…  all forum posts to show up in twitter or facebook?  would be quite a busy status or feed…  

but we can put on the list…

You can setup a RSS feed that pushes new posts to twitter using feedburner.  I haven’t looked at doing it on Facebook for the forums but you can do it for blog posts so it’s probably possible.

hi there is a plugin for wordpress (can i say name?) which is easily embedded in any post on wp and has many sharing options

maybe we could embed it in every topic? works like if function_exists

i used your guide to add the facebook like to topic header and its ok but it does not count the likes

like the button in facebook developers

I would have to play with it then and see what all needs to be changed.

You can use the Facebook page that creates the sharing button code and have it create the code for what you want. Then compare it to what you have now.

If I get a chance I will take a look and if easy enough add it to the codex entry.
