the user IDs would likely be in sfmembers... worth checking the number of entries in wp users table compared to sfmembers table... should be identical...

They were indeed out of sync. 1994 rows in wp_users, while 2002 in sf_members. Empty display names in those rows that matched the user-id. Strange.

Just deleted the seven I could find. Not sure where the other user is coming from, though. Is there a way to sync the two tables somehow?

Gotcha. I may export both lists to see where the offending user ID rests.

Another question about strangeness (I can start a new topic if needed):

Here - http://www.ornishspectrum.com/forum/ - the importer brought over everything so elegantly from vBulletin. But we have strange dates (or non-existent dates) for the "last post". In one example, it says the Last Post was 3 years ago, but we've had posts since then when you dive into the forum. Any insight on this date strangeness?

check the date of the post in the sfposts table...  you can get the id of the post via the forum tools (and if you still have the old vbulletin db, what the date was there too)... would be interesting to see how the date came across...  all the posts in that topic show as from Jan 2009...

what timezone is the server in?  and what is the default timezone (ie for guests)...
