Support Forum
Hi,
I've just setup a vanilla Wordpress installation (3.5.1) and installed SP (5.2.6). I'm trying to install a bunch of SP plugins but none of the installations are working. Every time I try, it shows the following error:
"Are you sure you want to do this?"
"Please try again."
Steps I am using to install a plugin:
1. Go to Forum -> Plugins -> Plugin Uploader
2. Select the plugin .ZIP file to upload and click "Upload Now"
3. Enter the FTP password in the "Connection Information" screen and click "Proceed"
Things I've looked at to try and fix the problem:
- There are no errors in the server log files
- I've changed all group:owners to the correct values
- I've changed all files/folders to 777
- I've had a look at the other installed site plugins - SP is the only one
Any ideas?
Cheers
Evan

see: http://codex.simple-press.com/.....g-plugins/

Hi Mr Papa, yes I was following the plugin installation instructions but no luck.
I've just tried installing all the plugins using the FTP method (unzip plugin first, then upload) and it looks like it's working OK.
Thanks for your help.
Cheers

The 'Are you sure you want to do this' message is pure WordPress. I have been using and writing code for WP since about 2005 and whenever I get that message in the admin I just throw up my hands in annoyance and ask the world what did I do?! It is, to me, totally inexplicable and I do not have a clue what they mean by it!
