I have installed the WP plugin Google XML Sitemaps by Arne Brachhold and your SP Google XML Sitemaps Integration plugin. The site map generation options does not appear in "Components" > "SEO" and I now got this error in my log:

file: kullbet/public_html/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-plugins/google-sitemap/library/sp-google-sitemap-components.php

line: 12

function: sp_google_sitemap_do_add_index

Warning | Missing argument 1 for sp_google_sitemap_do_add_index(), called in /problem-with-post-edit-buttonome3/skullbet/public_html/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-plugins/google-sitemap/sp-google-sitemap-plugin.php on line 113 and defined

Any idea what the problem might be.? Not sure if it matters, but I accidentally installed the WP plugin Google XML Sitemap by Cor van Noorloos at first. Now deleted.

thats not an error, just a warning... which we can look into, though I am not seeing it...

but what options are you looking for? the latest version has no options...

did you actually look at the sitemap to see if there was a new forum sitemap index listed?

btw, have fixed the harmless warning in next version - thanks for heads up...  you really should turn off php notices and warnings on a production site too...

Great. All good, I see the forum sitemap index. The options I was looking for were the ones described in the codex: http://codex.simple-press.com/.....e-sitemap/

since the last release, that codex page is out of date... since both supported sitemaps only do sitemap generation on demand, having a generation option does not make any sense...
