no.. the other report was not related to sp. I test my entire site on localhost, deactivated all plugins including MS and buddypress except SP. And Undefined index: errors in the debug function still persist. Deactivate SP and errors no longer show up in debug. ..So i am pinpointing SP..

So this is version 3.2.8? and as you said, the other user with same issue is not using SP...
you never replied with your sp sitemap options...
what about your xml sitemap options?

The other user posted it 6mths ago so it's a different version. I didn't see SP on his site so i assume he was not using SP. He uses another sitemap now so i guess his problem was not solved. I can't switch as only Arne Brachhold's plugin works with SP's hook.

and the wp sitemap options? how about a screenshot of them? see if anything abnormal/different...
you can really use any sitemap plugin as long as they provide some kind of api for us to call and pass in some pages... we made a 2 line change to the plugin for a guy awhile back but cannot remember which one it was...

I toyed with a few options in wp sitemap options to no avail. So i don't think it helps..

there is 1 repeat undefined error to every SP post.
I would be interested to look at alternative plugins or spend some time fixing the above code pertaining to line 1496. Thanks for your help.

those are all notices - not an error - within xml sitemap... those are lower than even a warning... could still be something, but rarely is a notice important... but I cannot look as you must not be using the version I referenced... that error does not make sense at that line in the version I have...

oh... what version do you use? Maybe i should clarify more.. I use the 1 in this thread because it supports multisite.. yeah.. i am on multisite and buddypress so i can't use the singlesite version.

quickly looked at that version and those notices are harmless... he is using an array argument of 'class' when that element of the array may not exist... without digging too deep, to prevent the notice, he should do something like:
if (isset($b["class"]) && $b["class"] != __CLASS__) {
but the end result is still the same - no issue or error...
but interestingly, that looks like debug code... so only should be running in debug mode... not sure why you would get it regardless...
but it is beta code, right? 
he doesn't say much in the readme files about what he changed...
but I did a quick install of it on my multisite test site and it worked fine... no issues generating a sitemap either by cron or on every post...
so have you upped the memory and/or the execution time in the settings?

Thanks. you were right.. undefined errors no longer show up but the sitemap is still not generating. yeah.. it's XML Sitemap Generator for WordPress 4.0beta10
Definitely not mem or execution time as i have tested it with minimal posts and plugins and even to the extent of trying the entire site copy on 2 different boxes nginx and apache. Something is wrong in between but i am not seeing it in the error log or anywhere.
Maybe i missed something... i don't know yet.

Now I tested it on the main site vs network site... and I dont have buddypress... and its actually wp 3.5 beta...
is this on test site? can you disable buddypress temporarily just to make sure its not involved with ms/sp/bp?
