Upgraded to latest wp 4.0 and latest version of Simplepress including all plugins. Hidden posters plugin is being a little weird now, all of the posters info is hidden except inside of topics. Posters avatars are visible, I wasn't sure if some code had changed so I checked the code in the codex that gets added to the Simplepress theme topicview.php and it appears to be the same as whats in my theme...

No, I am not aware of anything changing... do you have image of what you are referring to?

<---- avatar and member info shows like normal when reading posts with the hidden poster active. I've been pretty swamped this week too, will try to dig deeper tomorrow as well. I do have a custom sp theme but I've checked the code over a bunch and it looks okay, checked the settings over they look good, no errors on the front end of the site.... Will check the sp error log. Going to try to activate default sp theme and add the hidden posters code to that and see if users info is still visible. Soon as I can Ill post back what I find...

please do let us know... do plan to run some tests this weekend... never know with the rate of wp (and in some cases sp) changes, things do occasionally break..

hmm nothing in the sp error log, toggling between hidden and unhidden doesn't cause a notice or anything. Everything appears to work but the avatar and other member data still shows. Also tried switching to the default sp theme and adding the hidden poster code to it. Same as my custom theme though...
My guess would be the code below that goes in the topicview.php file isn't being triggered for some reason

just to be sure, on forum - options - content settings, is the enable hide post info option set?
I am hoping to have a chance this evening, but may not since we are trying to release a new version of SP tomorrow... afraid that is going to take priority and may need to finish up testing...
but it is on my short list for the weekend...
