Hello

Is there a plugin that allows hidding users before the user has logged in. At this point when you go here http://www.iika.ee/forum/ you are able to see some users emails. However I would like to hide them.

Is there a way to do it?

Ah - so you are forcing new members to sign up using an email address. And by default this then becomes the forum display name which usually they can set on their SP profile.

You may want to look a the forum admin > profile > options to see about changing the way default display names are created.

But- if this is the way it has to be for your website then it is probably best to remove the new members listing but beware that a users display name is shown all over the place (i.e., on posts and topics) so you may want to encourage your users to set one up properly.

If you decide to remove you will need to edit the template file which can be found on the /templates folder of the SP theme you are using. In this case, because it is shown on all views, it is the spFoot.php template and you will need to remove or comment out the display function named sp_NewMembers().

As always we recommend that you create your own SP theme so that any customisation is not lost during a future update. (http://codex.simple-press.com/.....g-a-theme/)
