Thanks again for your prompt response, currently I'm using:

  • WordPress 3.3.1.
  • Simple Press Version 5.0.5
  • Admin Bar version 1.3.1

Thanks

Ah - that version of the admin bar requires at least the 5.1.2 version of the SP core I am afraid. That would be the problem.

Ok is it easy to upgrade to SP 5.1.2? How should I do that?

What would be the implications when upgrading to this version. I'm just worried that I might crash the site.

Thanks

as with upgrading wp or any plugin, you should make a db backup first...

then go to the wp updates panel in the wp admin dashboard...  you should be able to upgrade the simple press plugin with a single click...
