I created a new template tag for this this morning so that will make an appearance with 5.1 due out next week. Note this is a template tag and optional shortcode. Not a widget.

is the template tags plugin update requiring 5.1? If not, no reason we couldnt push the release out now if you are happy with it... LOL, already have a lot of plugins to update when 5.1 releases so not adding more would be good!

I seem to be having an issue with the widget. Seems to be bigger than what I can fit on my side bar and is re-arranging my sidebar. I have been trying to change the width of the widget under the template tags folder sp-RecentPosts-widget.php but no success. Any ideas. http://www.tncnewscentral.com

rearranging sidebar? what do you mean? it looks like it fits just fine to me...
you might want to style it since we dont apply any styles since impossible to guess where and how it will be used... for example, I would style to put the text to the right of the avatar... the options are almost endless with css...

If you look at my page I have this widget all the way at the bottom of the side. After the Widget there is supposed to be a Google Adsense widget but because the Forum widget is bigger than 300px it makes the adsense widget come out of its place and puts it somewhere in the footer. If I remove the Forum Widget it comes back up to where is supposed to be and all is normal on the sidebar.

ah well of course, I dont see an adsense block in m browser... 😉 if I allow them, it still looks good... I see some really wide gadget ad things in the footer... is that what you mean?
but its not bigger than 300px when I view it... and the widget itself has no size/width... it just uses the space allocated by widgets on your site... the sp widget looks identical in size to all the other widgets...
now, most of your widgets appear in a theme specific div container:
<div id="text-32" class="widget widget_text">
but not the sp widget... have you specified for the forum widget to use the same theme specific container? in the widget options the before/after stuff...

^ Not sure what you mean by that but I do not see and option for this in the widget options. Please point to where I have to go to get this right.
