Plugin that would allow for ads to appear in the topics and in the forum, and i´m not just talking about the ad system that Google offers, but also the ability to add images to appear in the forum that link a website or what ever that is being advertised. Also a nice feature would be, see how many have clicked the ad.
Here is a incentive for creating this plugin. If people are making money from ads on their simple press forum, then of course they want to keep their forum and more likely they´ll buy support from you or access to plugins?

The main problem with such a plugin is that there are so many different systems that all require something a little different.
Now that SP is template driven it is really very easy for you to add such content via the templates - and add it where you want it to show up...
