I dont think its a getimagesize issue... that all seems working... the images are showing in the uploads viewer, it gets inserted... file is correct... viewing the file url directly works... the uploads viewer does call getimagesize too, but it seems to work too as its displaying the image in the viewer okay...
'something' is just adding width and height constraints of 1px... this is on insertion into the editor... before the post is ever saved...
the insert content js call does pass a width and height...but not sure how that would be 1 if the image size was failing...
Petra, any chance we could get ftp access so we can try some debug code?

so Petra, this is going to come down to your server configuration... and you should talk to your host as you still have a couple things that are not working...
for example: the php function getimagesize() is failing on your server...
this is why the image is getting a 1px height and width...
I have added some code specific to your install to adjust for this failing of getimagesize()...
it should not require anything special from php or other... so I would check with your host and see what is up...
anyway, its working now... not optimally since we wont have height, width on the image but working none the less...
