d day!
Have a problem with importer plugin 🙁 want to migrate from mingle to simple:press... trying to import data from mingle, everything is ok, except one thing - encoding is wrong 🙁
my forum is in russian, and when i'm importing data to simple:press, i get somethig like
Ñ„Ð¾Ñ€ÑƒÐ¼ Ñ‚Ñ€Ñ‹

any ideas, how can i fix this? )

Try this. In the /importers folder is the control file called mingle.php.
Around line 48 is this line:

$def->utf8_encode = true;

Set that to false, save it and try the import again.

Good news and thanks for letting me know.
That option was a bit experimental and it is on my list to expose that in the form so that it can be set with a checkbox.
