hello all,
I'm trying to find easy ways for people to edit their posts so I first tried bbcode quicktag and it disabled to ability to post and reply to topics. So I then tried html quicktag and it did the same thing. What is the plugin used for the the adding image by source here in these forums? That would solve the image issue I am having. However, not to sure about the quicktag plugins.

-update: I installed the editor tinymce, but another issue I have been having, but not worried about is preventing the image menu from showing up..
Everything in the forum that pops up, like viewing the default forum profiles and trying to see the insert image/video, changed source code is all loading in the layer behind the forum? How do I bring this to the front...

This is probably down to your WP theme and the use of z-index. Chances are it's probably down to the ui-dialog class needing a higher z-index.
You can test what works by using your browsers inspector to look at the popup, then change the z-index to a higher value.
Once you have it in front where it should be, you will need to make a child theme including the change to the class, so you won't loose it when things are updated.

Bit concerned about the bbCode and HTML editor stopping you posting though, definitely sounds like something is slightly wrong or maybe I'm misunderstanding..

I too am concerned about the editors stopping posting as that suggests a javascript conflict maybe with your WP theme or another plugin? Idf you do know how to use the web console in your browser it wpuld be useful to see if any errors are being reported when you try this.
