First time here.

I must admit, this is not really an issue, per se - I'm just wondering if a plugin/widget exists for Simple:Press that allows you to show latest forum posts on the website. If it doesn't exist, how hard would it be to create?

You will find template tags, shortcodes and a widget for this in our 'Template Tags' SP plugin so you will need to install and activate that.
