I never uninstalled it because I get a warning that all data will be deleted. So all I did was upgrade via FTP. I am going to PM you the phpmyadmin I use. For some reason I can’t find the link to add another admin in PHP admin so I am going to give you my login. From what I can see, all data is still there. No worries about the delay because I know how it can be when you have to mod all day. Let me know if you need anything else from me. BTW your forum is a very good plugin because with all the SEO integration it got my keyphrase “dog grooming forum” to the #3 position nationally. So I rather stay with your guys.

Right – after a look at the database tables you have the following in place:

sfgroups        1
sfforums        0
sftopics        82
sfposts        321

So – I don’t know how many groups you originally had but all of the forum records are deleted. So topics and posts are orphaned. How and why your forum records are deleted I have no knowledge or idea of of course. Certainly would not have been cuased by an upgrdae as there is no mechanism for doing so in upgrading.

If you have a database backup from before the loss of the forum records then we can probably rebuild them.

Hmmm last time I looked at it, it had data on that table. I am going to put the backup in a folder called oldbackup located in my root directory. Go ahead and use the cpanel login I gave you to access the FTP. You can overwrite all the tables because I did not add anything to the forum in a month do to the WordPress exploit last month. Thanks for helping sir.

If you could zip that database up into a file and make it available for me to download so I can do this off-line it would be much easier, better and quicker for me…

mmm. My database tools can not read this file. there seems to be something odd or incorrect aniyut the encoding. Can you tell me what the encoding is?

MyISAM? or hexadecimal for BLOB ? I have no idea if this doesn’t help.
