Ok I updated it through the GUI successfully but when I reactivated the plugin it was still 5.2.6 so I am going to do it via ftp. BRB

Ok I updated the SP plugin and the only error I got was for not updating post rating plugin. I updated that and have no errors. I cleared browser cache and kept wp-cache disabled. Now I see a my group but no forums for the group.

If you want access to my database I can make you a user id. Same for the Wordpress.

I have to admit I am totally and hopelessly lost on all of this! I have tried to read through all of the 54 posts in this thread and it has all just left me bewildered and confused with a slight twitch in my left eye...
Do you think you could just give an up to date and short account of exactly what the current issues are so we know exactly what it is being asked of us at this juncture?

Yes. If you look at the plugin page you will see the problem. There are no forums showing on the main page. Everything is up to date and I inspected and optimized all the tables in the database. I have no errors through the error log on the SP plugin. The plugin permalink is at http://doggroominginhouston.co.....ston-forum . Under the GUI for SP there is a message under my group, "There are no forums defined in this group". All I am trying to do is get my forums back because google 404'ed the hell out of the forums. All my data is still in the tables and is perfectly fine though.
This was the original problem then half way though this thread you guys had an update and so did Wordpress. I take that back. Wordpress had two updates since the beginning of this thread.

You still have things missing,. In this case the 'attachments' column that the file uploader plugin should have created in the 'sfposts' table.
as for the missing forums then yes - i think we need access to your admin - in the guise of a SP admin user...

My site has now been removed from the index on all major search engines for dog grooming forum. If you can't fix this then please give me a refund so I can buy another forum plugin. I followed all of your directions and have been here waiting very patiently. I NEED this resolved or a refund.

Apologies. I think we had a miscommunication this end and thought each other had answered.
Looking at your forum administration I am seeing one forum group and that's it. No other groups and no forum data. I know you have said the data is still there and of that is the case I will need to have access to it to see where it has gone... I rather thought I had seen mentions of 'uninstalling' earlier in this thread. Are you sure you did not do that?
