There are other plugins but I'll have to check if they add any fields to the write/edit post panel, but remember I did turn off/disable every single plugin other than SP and SP-blog-linking and the -1 still occurred.

Of course I'm the one who gets the weird problem that no one else has, had, or can replicate.

I'll be doing the add a comment then delete the comment work-around for the time being. There has to be something somewhere that's causing it to subtract a comment to get the -1. I have no more ideas on where to look at the moment.
