the button has the javascript(void)?? really, then you are NOT showing new posts on their own page, but instead using the popup...

in which case the proper url would be: http://www.guitarraviva.com/fo.....?mark-read

I would imagine it works fine too...

so why is the forum name dropped from that link and why is the index.php in there? any security plugins or mod_security on site?

you dont know what wp security plugins you might be running?

did you update anything else (like theme or plugins) when wp and sp were updated?

does this occur or all users? or just your account?  can you try a test user?  we cannot log in, so cannot try it...

that index.php shouldnt be there since you dont use pathinfo permalinks...

lol. no unread posts for this user...  will have to try later when some posts...

and btw, I would worry about something doing this on your site:

<script type='text/javascript' src='http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.7.2/jquery.min.js?ver=3.6'></script>

that is a recipe for problems with a theme or plugin loading external jquery that is different than the jquery that comes with wp...  not sure related to this, but could cause numerous issues...

btw, if you change to the default wp theme, does it work?
