Hi,
I am new to Simple Press.
I just want a forum where all members need to get a manually approval before they can see content etc.
Is there a step by step guide on how to do that? Or do I need any extra plugins?

when you say all members, do you mean new members that join your site? users and registrations are the realm of WordPress... as a plugin for wp, simple press just sits on top of the wp users and registrations...
there are many plugins out there for wp that allow you to moderate new registrations...
If you want to do this for existing users, read this code article on controlling permissions:

Yes, if someone register, I want to make sure that we have to approve the registration before they can read any of the forum posts.
I have checked out some additional plugins, but is there anyone you recommend?

Also is there are a simple guide for setting up S2 Member plugin and Forum permissions with the same way, need manual approval no matter what.
