I just added the Membership Subscribe plugin. I am aware that it is set up to change permissions for a new user group.
Is there anyway (no matter how convoluted) I could add subscriptions for an existing user group (members) for my site. In short I no longer have the luxury of teaching people how to subscribe to forums since the training budget has been cut and most of my members find the process of subscribing very confusing.
Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

basically, just remove the usergroup and permission set from the forum... configure the membership subscribe, and then add the usergorup and permission set back to the forum...
