Mentions plugin causing server error?

Hi all,

I'm using the latest version of the Mentions plugin.

When any member of the forum tries to write a post using the @ functionality everything appears to work (the list comes up with users etc) but upon submit I get an Internal Server Error.

Any ideas?

To be honest for this you really do need to go to the server error logs or to your host. I very much doubt any error was recorded in the SP log - although it never hurts to take a look of course.

The latest update to the plugin has magically fixed the problem, no worries :)

Glad to hear it even if we will never know why...

I just updated to the new revised version of the Mentions plugin and now have the following errors and my forum is broken:

Warning: include_once(/problem-with-post-edit-buttonome/godiape7/public_html/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-plugins/mentions/library/sp-mentions-components.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /problem-with-post-edit-buttonome/godiape7/public_html/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-plugins/mentions1/sp-mentions-plugin.php on line 126

Fatal error: Call to undefined function sp_mentions_do_header() in /problem-with-post-edit-buttonome/godiape7/public_html/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-plugins/mentions1/sp-mentions-plugin.php on line 127

Trying to launch my site today and this is sooooo not great timing. :)

Thx for any help.

Andrea

PS - I deleted the old Mentions plugin in SP backend then added the new.

Nevermind! I went into my file manager and discovered that it named the new plugin folder "Mentions1" - so I removed the "1" and it all works now. For anyone else who may ever have this problem. :)
