I have lots of forum topics. I just made a new one that is way at the bottom but I want to move it to the top where people can see it. How do I move it?

In the forum admin > Options > Global Display Settings - you will find the section 'Forum View Formatting' and the option to 'Sort topics by most recent postings (newest first)'. This will also ensure that new topics - i.e., those with the most recent post in them - float to the top of the topic listing. it is the default setting.

thank you... I did  not make myself clear, so sorry...

I made a new forum. It's at the bottom of a long list of forums but I want to move it to the top where people will see it.

on forum - forums - manage forums  you can set the order of your forums... just edit the forum and choose where you want it to appear (ie 1st in group, or after another existing forum, or at end)...
