On some of my PM messages, my responses aren't showing up. Here is a picture:

Most PM threads are fine, but it's strange some of them like the example to the left display my responses as blank. Any ideas as to what could be causing this?

responses?  do you mean you have a message with no content?

what is the wp, sp and pm version you are running?  was a similar issue several versions back, but was fixed - or at least reported so...

I'm using Wordpress 3.9.1, Simplepress 5.5, PM version 2.2.1. This has been going on a few months I noticed.

Yes, all of my messages in some PM threads are completely blank as in that picture example. My site is http://www.playingwithsuperpower.com

can you look in the db, table sfoptions and look for option name of pm...  in that value, what is dbversion set to?

are you sure those are you replies???  or maybe just a message in the thread where you are not a recipient or the sender?  think I have found a potential issue with the latter....  have a fix in place... needs more testing...

Looking more closely, those aren't my replies. It seems like every time I look at some of my PM threads, there is a blank post with the current date and time. Those replace my actual PM posts that I made. How strange.

To answer your database question, db version is set to: "dbversion";i:11;s:7:"

Any ideas?

7?   thats really old...  you said earlier pm version 2.2.1...  which does not exist... assume you mean 2.1.1...  but its latest db version number would be 11...  indicates you might have missed a lot of key upgrades...

in the database, do you have sfthreads, sfmessages, and sfrecipients tables?

best thing might be to wait for the update to pm plugin for the issue I mentioned in post 5 and see if it helps... if not, I am worried about how you might have missed all those upgrades...

please verify your version of pm plugin again...

Yes, I have version 2.1.1 of the PM plugin. No, I don't have sfthreads, sfmessages, or sfrecipients tables.

sorry, typed too fast...  sfpmmessages, sfpmthreads and sfpmrecipients...  of course, they will have your wp db prefix in front of it... ie wp_sfpmmessages... though your prefix may be other than wp_
