Then you have totally confused me.... with db version of 7, that indicates you missed a bunch of upgrades and wouldnt have those tables since they occur in an update later than db version 7... so quite confused...
so at this point, before doing anything drastic, lets wait until the pm plugin update is released and see if it helps... should be this weekend at latest... under going some testing...

Well it seems like it only happens with one particular user. Is it possible that he marked me as an adversary and that's why I can't see my own PM conversations with him? I'm at a loss.

been over a month since you were here... did you grab the release of the pm plugin since then?
you can see your list of adversaries in your profile... but no, you wouldnt be able to pm them either...

Yes, I have the most up to date version.
For example one PM thread states there are five messages. But I can only see three.
In my settings, I had set the PM box limit to 50 threads, but I have more than that. Could that be the problem?

shouldnt be... no other reports since the update (fixed the known issue)...
