Hi,

I've installed the PM plugin and it is functioning well. However, I don't seem to receive emails for new messages in my inbox, nor do I see any option in the SP settings to turn the feature on. Can I please know where exactly I have to enable the email notifications?

Thanks!

Under the Forum Admin Private Messages there is an option "Enable sending of email for PMs (If enabled, users can elect to receive or not in their profile"

You would want that on and also in your own profile have it on.

Thanks Brandon.

Seems like I have to manually turn on the option of enabling the emails through my profile. Is there any way I could keep it enabled (for every user) by default? I don't mind editing the code.

As far as I can see from the code it will default to on for all new users who register.

Strage, because in mine it doesn't. However, you can try out at ThesisLove (link in the signature). Sign up for the free account, and you'll get access to the whole forum automatically. (Only if you want to check out! :) )

As a general rule we prefer users to supply us with credentials and do not register on peoples sites.

Please note that I did say the default should be on for new registrants. Not necessarily existing members. Are you saying this is not the case?
