Hi

have been looking thru this section for a while but the search is not really helpful, so forgive me if the question has been asked before (for cheer of the season) :)

Am just trying to add the tinymce as a plugin, but it doesnt show up as a plugin in my forum/plugin section to hook it.. have it unziped and even renamed to just tinymce without any version, still not listed there... same for any other plugin added to the path of wp-content/sp-resources/forum-plugins

have assigned 777 mod and proper ownerships...still nothing listed there...  so seems I missing something :-/ any idea please?

Thanks in advance

so is wp-content/sp-resources/forum-plugins the proper location??  Its our default, but you actually control that location via forum - integration - storage locations...  so lets verify that first...

0777 is a bad permission to be using and we certainly dont require it... in fact, it will cause issues on some hosts...  I would suggest 0755 for the directories... and when I say directories, I mean wp-content, sp-resources and forum-plugins...  you will need to verify permissions and ownership on up the chain (ie all 3) and not just sp-resources...

if plugins (http://codex.simple-press.com/.....g-plugins/) are not showing up, then its still going to be something with permissions/ownership...

I just re-read that first post again where you said you renamed the tinyMCE plugin. If you unzip the downloaded file it will extract to a folder named 'tinymce-richtext' which is what this particular plugin folder MUST be named.
