Is the option to update (or not) the blog post when editing a blog linked forum post still avaialble?
I can't find the option now or a setting to turn it on. If there is no option what happens to the blog post when a linked forum topic is edited?
I probably didn't explain well enough.
After you have created a WP blog post and have it create a SP forum Topic.
Go to the forum topic, not the blog post, that was automatically created and then go to edit that post. There used to be an option to update/overwrite the blog post with the new edited/saved forum post.
Maybe I am missing something in the config that turns on the option in the forum?
hey, I asked you this question last week in email!

Just looked, it is in 4.45 in sf-form-post.php.
function sf_render_edit_post_form and $linked is an arg.
Will open a ticket.
well, it wouldnt be there in 5.0... would have to be in the blog linking plugin which would us a hook to get at the form...

I am not sure if it is even needed. Might be something that no one uses that often.
In the past, in almost all cases, when I edited a linked forum topic post I never changed the blog post to match the one I changed in the forum.
Maybe some feedback from other members here would be in order before looking to add it in.
no, I think we want it back... We use it here occasionally...
