Support Forum
I have installed a Simple:Press forum and had it showing fine yesterday but today when I click on the page link I am getting a message saying:
Not Found
Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn't here.
When I go to Integration it continually shows:
ERROR: The page slug is either missing or incorrect. The forum will not display until this is corrected
I have pointed it to the slug I want, but every time i do it keeps reverting back to the Homepage and the error message shows again.
The only thing I can think of that I have adjusted something in the site settings that is now preventing this forum from showing but I cannot find what it is. Have you any ideas why I can no longer view this when it was working fine yesterday???
When you select the page you are looking for in the integration panel - can I assume you are then clicking on the update button? And when you do that do you get a yellow message box appearing top left to say it was updated OK?
And if yes to all of that - after the update also click on the update forum permalink button below that.

The only button I have available is Update WP Integration - as you can see from the screen print. When I click on the I get a message to say 'Forum Page and Slug Updated', but when I check the page on the site I still have the message to say it cannot be found. The Integration page just reverts to what it was before I changed the slug.
OK - one possibility is that the page you are trying to associate the forum with is either not published or is actually sitting in the WordPress trash. Could either of these be possible?
Andy why - out of interest - is the page called 'forum-3'? When SP installed itself it would have tried to just use the page title of 'forum'.
