Hello dear Simple:Press team;

nothing major; it just seems that both the Drag & Drop as well as the "select file" button seems to be broken in both IE 9 and Opera. IE seems to take the silverlight-runtime route (supposedly; changing the runtimes should be possible but i've never found out how); while Opera; Firefox and Chrome go via HTML 5. Opera can do Drag & Drop; but won't activate the "add files" button.

Have you got any idea how to apply a quick fix?

Best regards,

Dosenben

the real problem here is that this is not a general problem... they are working fine in almost all of the IE and Opera installs... everyone once in a while, there is js engine (ie browser specific) conflict that arises on a site because of the exact plugins or wp theme (ie diff js) that is being run...

the best recourse in these handful of cases is to identify where the conflict is coming from and then take steps to resolve it - 99% of the time, the conflicting js is loaded on the forum page by the other plugin/theme and its not even used or needed...
