plupload: personal permissions for users do not allow

What do I need to do to get the permissions to allow members to upload files using plupload? The options in the plugin are good ... but the personal permission settings for members have a big red X in the box so it is not allowed.
Sorry ... seem to be having issues with permissions today

You should find that Uploading has it's own permission section in the Manage permission admin screens. Then in the uploading set the options you need for the permission sets you need.
Note - I believe you said you wanted to be abke to uokload files and have users download them so you may also need to turn on the permission 'Can download other file type attachments' which is actually under the 'Viewing' section in each permission panel.
