Support Forum
There is no going back. Well - unless you can also go back to the previous version of WordPress. The tinyMCE editor code is supplied by WP and they have updated to the latest version in WP 3.9.0 so we have had to also support that in our plugin.
Next stage is to include a screenshot if you will, of your tinyMCE options panel in the forum admin.

Any chance you could sign me up so that I can take a look at, say, a new topic page?
If so please PM credentials to both myself and to 'Mr Papa'. Please include in the PM a link to your site, a link to this thread and brief reminder of the problem. And one of us will take a look for you.

This is actually - of course - nothing to do with PM. The editor doesn't work anywhere.
I suspect that you have something else there that has not been updated properly to work with WP 3.9 as the site is throwing some scripting errors.
First up - something (WP theme or plugin) is loading some script into the page that uses a JavaScript function named st_go(). But this is being shown as not existing. I guess this looks like it has something to do with link tracking? Mean anything to you?
A secnd error has as its text: 'Content Security Policy: Couldn't parse invalid source chrome-extension://lifbcibllhkdhoafpjfnlhfpfgnpldfl' and I have no idea what this means I am afraid!
Lastly - did you upgrade the SP 'Mentions' plugin as that is failing to load its script?

st_go is related to WP stats (Jetpack plugin). There hasn't been an update to that today, and the error has been logged by many other users. I'll see if I can fix it (though I've no idea how to) but I'm not sure it's related to this particular issue.

Apparently this is related to a Skype extension for Chrome. I've no idea how this might be appearing on my site. I've never even used Skype. I'll check my plugins for that code (it's not in my theme).
How are you finding these errors? I had a look in Firebug and nothing came up for me.
Yes, I did upgrade the SP Mentions plugin. I upgraded everything this morning, starting with WP, then SP and other plugins, then SP themes.
That was it! It was Mentions that was causing the problem. Thanks Andy!
I deleted the plugin, downloaded it again and uploaded the newer version but when activated it still prevents any TinyMCE-editor fields from working.
I've disabled Mentions for now. Do you have any ideas how I might get it working again?
I also reinstalled WP for good measure, just to check that the update to 3.9 worked properly, in the light of those other errors. I'll investigate the JS stuff fully when I get more time.
Apologies to the OP - this isn't a PM issue at all, and I've totally derailed the thread.
