It works with wp default theme, but not with DirectoryPress theme :(

so we have to figure out what odd stuff this theme is doing...    and why the wp page content is displayed outside the page content...  especially with strict api on...

did you post a link to your site?

This is the theme that I am using. It's a premium theme, where each blog post becomes a business directory listing. Maybe it has something to do with this loop problem.

If the theme is, for some odd and non-standard reason showing content outside of the loop then it is entirely possible, I would have thought, that there might be theme templates supplied that will allow a more normal usage. It would be worth taking a look at what page templates might be available within the theme and perhaps trying one with the forum page.

Mr.Papa , Yellow Swordfish -  I appreciate your help, but I don't want to take too much of your time on this personal matter. It is indeed a problem with my theme (or maybe an erroneous installation of the theme?), and not with your plugin.

I am very excited about SimplePress and it's numerous possibilities, so I'll be fine without the polls in my forum.

afraid I have not looked...  you said low priority and well, ran out of time... ;)

still have the info and would like to look into... but its gonna take some time...  might be the weekend before I have chance...

but feel free to keep tweaking us... will get to it...  but these one offs are a bit lower in priority...
