Its the bad behaviour plugin you are running... for some reason, it is adding its own form element to the poll submission form...

This is making it look like there is an extra answer being provided to the polls voting processing... hence the error...

why in the hell, bad behaviour is adding elements to submitted forms is beyond me...   certainly not cool...

Hhmmm...yup, that was it. I deactivated the Bad Behavior plugin and now I can vote with a max answer allowed of one. Think y'all can develop a workaround? Or get the developer of Bad Behavior to change how it works? Or will I need to ditch the BB plugin permanently?

Can you ask them what the BB plugin is actually doing in this instance? And are there any option settings to BB that might be pertinent?

I don't see any option I can activate or deactivate that could be causing the problem. I tried adding /forums to Bad Behavior's whitelist, but that didn't work.

I can try to leave a message for the developers in the plugin's support forum on WordPress.org, but I can't do any more than rephrase what you've explained the source of the problem to be and relay any response back. A technical discussion about the coding involved is beyond me.

Not much we can do as they are dorking up our form and adding elements. No clue why they are adding form elements. Odd they don't have a whitelist capability.

It has whitelist capability. I put /forums in the whitelist field as the instructions directed. But it didn't work. I think the plugin treats webpages and submission forms separately, so whitelisting /forums might not whitelist the polls on that page.
