I understand that the "Post As" plugin allows for chosen users to post as another user, however I was led to believe there would be further options so that we can limit what users one user can post as.
For example, lets say we have members: A, B, C, D, E, F and G.
Is it possible to give permission to user D to post as user E and G but not as A, B, C and F?
No, afraid that was never an intention or goal of the plugin... but that is not to say that we cannot consider for a future version...
but what you ask for would be quite complex and a UI nightmare... for a case with tens of thousand or hundreds of thousands of users, how would you individually set for users which users they could post as?
I have made a note of the request...

Thanks for the response, basically it would work by enabling it on certain users and restrict that one user to an assigned user or users. By default if the person gets the rights to Post As they can post as anyone, however if restricted you add the users to a list much like how you add users to a membership group via the list but for each user.
I have a group on my site that does creative writing and would like to post as their characters but not have to logout and login as another user. You can see why such an implementation would be great for me.
Thanks
understand. have noted it in a ticket.
