I just tried disabling all other plugins besides SP and it still did not have a field there.

I'm not sure if there's a problem or not, all I can do is go by my local test system. Can you try disabling the Post By Email plugin and re-enabling it to see if the field appears?

My Post By Email plugin was disabled locally, I checked the edit forum panel and couldn't see an email field. I then went and enabled the plugin and went back to edit forum and the field was present.

oops, sorry I missed that squashed in between the two green ticks 😛

Cool it seems to be fully set up now as Ive added all the forums with their own email addresses and the error mesg now says - Connection Successful -  🙂

Will test functionality later when I get a chance and report back

Yep problem solved - installed and tested both members replies and admin posting.

Well worth the hassles for this great functionality !

Just aa a worthwhile task it is a good idea to look at the post by email log every now and then. Some users do get it wrong and the log will show if there are any failures.
