When members try to insert images into posts, they encounter a blank white box (example below). What can be the issue here? It's probably worth mentioning that I'm one of the people who's experiencing the signature image issues as well. Not sure if the two have anything to do with each other, but I though I'd throw that out there.

My immediate response are threefold...
What toolbar button/action are your users performing when they see this box? It doesn't look like one of ours or one of the standard TM dialogs although maybe I am wrong.
Simple:Press only defines two toolbar rows in the editor yet I see you appear to have four. What is putting them there? Could this have any relevance to the first question?
There is no specific 'signature image issue'. It is gone for everybody no matter what. This is still being looked at to see how possible it would be to bring it back. The main issue and problem with the signature form is that it is loaded utilising AJAX which does not necessarily work as well with the new TinyMCE methodology.

Users are encountering the error when using the Insert/Edit image button in the toolbar.
I have Ultimate TinyMCE, so I'm assuming that's why the third row is showing up.

I would assume so... any wp plugin that adds stuff to wp editor needs updating... has that one updated since 3.9?

do you have problems with images if you disable tinymce advanced?

I deactivated Ultimate TinyMCE, and that solved the image issue. However, two other issues have come up since!
1. Tabs in profile (Options, Subscriptions, etc.) are not loading.
2. When trying to use mentions, a blank bubble/box appears instead of the box that lists member names.
3. Worst one - I'm not able to get into certain areas of the admin dashboard. I've tried going into Toolbox>Housekeeping, but the page will not load. This is happening across most of the admin options.
When viewing inspect element, I'm seeing lots of "Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)" notifications...

This is sounding like classic JavaScript conflict area. Either that or a corrupt install bit I much prefer the former.
Do you know how to utilise the web console to look for script errors? If not this wordpress codex article explains how althop8gh the Firefox example is a little out of date: http://codex.wordpress.org/Usi.....ipt_Errors
It would be useful to limit this to show just errors so that we see quickly of anything is being reported. I would try Mentions and the admin panels first...
If you prefer to us to look then we would, of course, need a set of login credentials and the account would require being created as a Simple:Press Admin. If you DO prefer this then:

took a quick look at site since you included link in first post... you have a plugin throwing js errors... something called custom contact form... at least on some page loads, so might not be the issue... you also have a chat program that is constantly bombarding the site with requests...
first thing I would try is switching to the default wp theme and see if that helps....
if not, then disable other wp plugins and see if that helps.. if so, reenable one by one until it breaks...
then we know the conflict and can try to work it...

I also just logged in to take a look. Didn't look around the WP Admin of course as the account is not an SP admin one but I did spend some time in the forum and as far as I can see everything is loading as it should. certainly the three profile panels you mentioned were fine as was the mentions listing in a post reply.
I would say that your AJAX calls to the server are sometimes a but sluggish but if you have a chat program running then that could explain that. They can both slow up ajax calls, hog the system resources and can sometimes cause errors themselves.
So did you change something to enable it all to now work OK?

This is exactly what happened yesterday - all of the sudden all issues had resolved and everything was working fine. Then, later on in the day, they reappeared. Now that I was finally able to get into the dashboard, I went in and gave you SP Admin access.
Considering the info regarding ajax, I think I'll try disabling the chat plugin for a bit if the issues pop up again. Will keep you posted! Thanks.
