No this is right. There was a bug. I have now fixed it for release in 5.2.6.
Of you REALLY have 11000 or so then I would not recommend trying to remove them in single pass. It could well time out with that sort of number.

i would suggest waiting. WordPress 3.6 went to RC1 last Friday so it really is not far away now for release.

Andy's suggestion was to wait for the plugin update that cannot be released until wp 3.6 is...
if you really need to do something now, it probably needs to be manually in the wp users admin panel... painful, yes... sorry...

Yes I know. We used to notice a wave of fake registrations and then a period of calm before another wave came along.
Using the 'math' question on the registration form seemed to cut the numbers.
