All,
My goal is to put a "Recent Forum Posts" in the sidebar on my forum page. But to be frank, I'm not sure how to do this. I installed the "Featured Topics and Posts" but still haven't figured out how to use or what it exactly does (and I'm not convinced this is what I need).
While researching "Featured Topics and Posts" I ran across several references to a "Recent Forum Post Widget" ... this sounds more applicable to my situation. With that said, though, I can't locate this widget.

Any suggestions on how I can accomplish my goal?

with the plugin comes a widget.. just go to the wp admin for widgets and add the recent posts widget where you want it...
