I'm getting the following error whenever I try to display "avatars" for the recent forum posts plugin. (TAUD)

Fatal error: Call to undefined function sp_get_user() in/problem-with-post-edit-buttonome/justinl/public_html/nicheoptimizer.com/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-plugins/template-tags/library/sp-RecentPosts-tag.php on line 193

Also the plugin is listing topics from other ID's even though I labeled it as "3"

I feel pretty sure that the first problem comes down to that version. There were a couple of dependent changes made in 5.1.3 so you really need to upgrade the core Simple:Press plugin.

perhaps after that we can look into to the other. If after that upgrade it is still an issue perhaps you could paste the code here that you are using...

Since I added my own custom CSS, by upgrading is that going to cause problems?

That fixed my original issue.

HOWEVER, there is an issue that kind of defeats the purpose of using the tool.

When I select "Forum IDs" it lists topics from other forums that I didn't list.

did you add the custom css as we have recommended thousands of times... and have detailed in the Codex:

http://codex.simple-press.com/.....g-a-theme/

If so, then yes... upgrading will be no issue... but if you didnt do that and changed one of our themes, you will lose changes if you upgrade the theme...

BUT... Andy was asking you upgrade core... so your theme would be unaffected...
