I see the recent post tag has been updated. What are the arguments and their order when calling via PHP? They appear to be different from the 4.x ones.
there is only 1 argument... and its an argument list like all our other 5.0 template functions...
so you would call sp_RecentPostsTag('arg1=value&arg2=value) and so forth...
for valid arguments (and order does not matter), see the template tags plugin, file sp-RecentPostsTag.php
of course, we need to update our codex still http://codex.simple-press.com but are always looking for volunteers to help!

Thanks,
In 4.x I was using something like sp_RecentPostsTag(15,true,true,false) etc so was thinking it would be the same.
I changed it to how you show and it works fine except I have to use 'showAvatar=1' not 'showAvatar=true' to get Avatars to show.
I would be glad to help with some info for your codex but am more used to the how-to article how-to kinda thing. With pics and step by step.
For instance this example. http://vulkanocommunity.com/pr.....ary-codes/
If you think that kind of info and layout might work then I can easily create the article at the same time I add or update a plugin or function.

That's standard - using 1 for true and 0 for false. So - I guess it would be worth changing the information at the top to reflect that. I will do that - try and make it clearer.
I will also add a special class to the optional avatar. At the moment it will default to the one being used in the forum which under many circumstances may not be appropriate.

I couldn't possibly turn an offer like that down! This is the kind of thing we want to do but sadly just never have to time to do!
Did Steve or I come back yet in the images in CSS question? I have a feeling we both might be thinking the other has done so...

Makes sense on the 0 and 1 deal.
I see you added some to the sp-RecentPosts-tag.php file. It looks like what you added to line 69 is already there on line 61.
Same for 87 & 95
Re: CSS & Image question, I didn't hear anything back yet.
Re:Codex, If you want to register me, I will put some tihings together for youto look at as I get the time.
Yes - I found that - but thanks. It was because I had failed the add avatarClass to the documentation at the top so thought I had missed it out.
On the CSS/Images then personally I think it is a great idea. But I wanted to warn you that I made some changes to both theme files and overlays yesterday - new section at the bottom - before you went ahead and made any more changes. So you will need to grab the latest.
I will pass the Codex registration over to Steve. - Thanks as always.

New CSS/Images patch has been sent to Steve for review.
I logged into the Codex pages and only just looked around for now. Just figuring out where and how I can help the most. 🙂
Andy committed it this afternoon...
