Where can i find the settings display to remove the "forum statistics" block on the bottom of the page?

I looked in the "options-->general display settings" but no luck so far?!

Any help welcome!

With the move to themes and templates most of these sort of options have been removed because they are really too inflexible. But it does mean you will need to make template edits - just like with WP themes.

In this case the template you need (in the /templates folder of your SP theme) is called spFoot.php - which controls the display of the common areas within the forum footer.

Down near the end you should easily spot the section that controls the display of the statistics. Simply comment it out or remove if you prefer.

As always we recommend that you create your own SP theme so that any customisation is not lost during a future update. (http://codex.simple-press.com/.....g-a-theme/)

Hi, we had the same problem and have commented out the code so its not showing on the desktop now, however on mobiles and iPhones and iPads it is still showing so I am assuming there is different code for the forum when viewed on mobile devices... where could I find that? Or any other suggestions? Thx

No, not different code per se...  but you can force a different sp theme to be used for mobile devices which could cause this...

check on forum - themes - mobile...
