From what I am reading, it appears that the Report Post sends the reported post to the emails you assign to it.
Is there any way we can get those reports to show up as an announcement type button at the top of the forum so that if any of the staff are on they would see it?
When we get a reported post on our other site, where we currently are hosted, it means something really bad has happened and it need to be taken care of immediately. As soon as someone reports a post, a button pops up at the top of the forum and any staff member is able to take care of the problem and then archive the report.
I am very concerned about this. Is there a different way to receive the reported posts except by email? I normally don't look at my email more than two or three times a day. I feel like I would have to check it every little bit if I have to rely on email for the reported posts.
Any ideas or suggestions? How do you all deal with all the reported posts? Thank you for your help.
currently, that is not possible directly... you could probably code
something up using our hooks, but havent tried...
we did have one user ask for something similar awhile back, so
consideration is on our list...
