Hey guys, thanks for the great job you do. I love the plugin.
My question. How come the forum doesnt seem to refresh as smoothly from page to page as phpbb and SMF? It still feels very sluggish from page to page?
My site's on an elite dedicated server (http://www.hostgator.com/dedicated.shtml) so it should FLY. Is there some caching I havent turned on or is there a conflict with caching plugins?
My Suggestion - I love the Post-> Forum plugin but could you extend it a bit and enable category-> Forum integration? In other words if I post in a particular category, i can map that category to a Forum. I post in Servers category, a post is created in the Server Forum without me having to think about it.
It would be a lot easier especially with my 1600 posts 🙂

phpBB and SMF are both forum applications. It is all they do. WordPress is a blogging platform or a CMS depending on what you want to call it or - perhaps - how you use it. Simple:Press is a forum plugin built on top of WordPress.
I do have that blog linking request on the list for a future development.
