Hey, sorry for the late reply!

Best thing to do is, as Steve said - take a look in their profile. Forget about admin side for a minute - find the user on your forum, click on them to get the profile popup, view full profile, then at the top of their profile you should see 'edit profile'.

From there, you can click 'Permissions'. This gives you a list of all your forums, just need to then find the one in question, click 'View' and see if they have access, but do take a screenshot of that and post it here.

No need to re-size either (even the last ones are very hard to make out!)

OK, well that's fine - clear as day!

So it does appear that this specific user hasn't got the right permissions to view this forum. So first thing to check is the forum, then the user.

Check what permissions sets the forum has from the admin panel. Forum > Forums > Manage Groups and Forums. Find the forum in question and click 'Forum Permissions' to see what permission sets are in play.

You should see here that you have the usergroup and the permission, so it should be pretty easy to see whether their group has access.

Thanks. Might need Mr Papa to take a look at this when he is on later, but just a quick question - does this user never have access? sometimes have access? have they always had this problem? or has it started recently?

I am a bit stumped so far. Permissions look OK, and if they are in a group that other members are in and other members haven't reported a problem.. The only thing that jumps to mind is possibly a database problem..

sorry, confused... the profile permissions clearly show the user does not have permission...  I assume you were on the user profile (user id 3330)...

have you been asked to clear the auths cache on forum - toolbox - houskeeping?

I think at this point, we need a closer to look to get from within the admin...  If thats possible, please send to myself and Ike via pm, some temp credentials that have wp and sp admin capabilities...  please include a link to site and a link to this topic so we know what its about...
