I have just had a double check and the forum 'Healing Problem Solving Class' still has the permission of Members - No Access.

Sorry, I didn't change it - I would normally only advise not make any changes.. You would just need to go to Forum > Forums > Manage Groups and Forums > find the forum in question, click 'Forum Permissions' on the right of the group you want (in this case 'Members') and edit the set enabling 'Standard Access'

if you want the members to have no access (truly no access vice the no access permission set), the just delete the usergroup/permission set from the forum (on the panel Ike mentioned)...  if a user has no membership (does not belong to a usergroup assigned to the forum with a permission set), they will no have any access on the forum...

Just looking at the permissions issue first, have just taken another look and I can see a few things have changed.

Image14.jpgImage Enlarger

In the first screenshot, it shows that Mariah has a membership to 'Members' group and only members group...Image16.jpgImage Enlarger

In the second screenshot, it shows the forum in question doesn't allow people to view from the 'Members' group. Mariah would need to belong to one of the above groups in order to see this forum, or the members group needs to be added to the permissions with 'standard access' (the problem before was that the members group had no access)

she should belong to the heeling PS group ... see on picture is shows she has posted on that forum ..

for some reason it has kicked her out???

i have forums set up in groups ... giving whatever groups access to the forums that relates to them ..

guests and members (sort of speak) do not have access ... so i deleted since they didn't have access anyway .. if you look at the other forums you will see the same ..

this is all so confusing :<(

i just need to know how to get this fixed ...

Sure, and that is understandable. To resolve, like I said in the previous posts - just re-add her to the correct usergroup, simple as that!

And although I can't explain why it happened, do let us know if it happens again..
