Has anyone experienced any difficulties with getting the forums to operate correctly on WP Engine? We have a site on there, and the forums work fine on their staging server, which has caching disabled completely, but no new posts can be made on the production server, which has a custom caching setup on it. We asked them to disable caching on the following directories so far, which they have, but it has not seemed to help:

/forum/
/wp-content/sp-resources/
/wp-content/plugins/simple-press/

Anything else we should try? Thanks.

we had a fair number of users on wp engine and quite happy...  about a month ago, one user said that wp engine had disabled sp on his site because or resource utilization... one user mind you, but wp engine has notorious reputation for overzealous banning of wp plugins... no clue if they banned it across the board or just that one user...

assuming the url to your forum page is indeed http://yoursite.com/forum/ that is all that should be needed...

however, if they are doing db caching, js minifying (havent seen one yet that doesnt break already minified js like ours), there might be issueds too...
