Ok so here is what I have done so far.
First installed subscription plugin. Loaded the forum without adjusting permissions and nothing loaded on the page, just a blank screen.
Then installed watch plugin. Loaded the forum without adjusting permissions and same blank page.
Deactivated both plugins and loaded the forum page without a problem, running as usual.
Activated subscription plugin and adjusted member forum permissions to accept the ability to subscribe to forum topics. Loaded forum page and gave a blank page like before.
Deactivated subscription plugin and forum runs fine as usual.
Help?

After updating the Simple Press plugins which I had, the forum page again did not load at all. After going through the plugins and checking which ones are working together and which are not, I ended up with only 1 available to run on the forum without the forum not working. The rest, once activated created an error, either not found page, or complete blank page. The only benefit I got from this, was a forum which now flies when loading pages.

Update: Can't use the newest version of blog post linking either as it removed my home page completely and no blogs were appearing anywhere. (Home page run off blogs excerpts). Once deactivated, back to normal.

So by 'blank' page do you literally mean blank, empty, 100% devoid of content? Or do you mean the forum content was missing?

The entire page was blank. And I think we are moving to PHPBB3 now 🙁 just hit a multitude of problems today and whole site went bad, had to backup and still the forums were all mucked up. It's unfortunate... really enjoyed simple press while it worked.
