Just one question look at the output using the list class from a search, in my spListView I have the following code:

sp_ListTopicName('tagClass=spListTopicRowName spLeft&truncate=60', __sp('Browse the thread %NAME%'));

When I do a search I get.

Image Enlarger

Which looks fine and the long topic title is truncated, yet when I run the watch or subscribed plugin I get this.

Any ideas why that might be?

currently, they dont use the same template file... because while they use the same list view class, they do slightly different thing... the subs and watches currently come with their own template file which you would want to mke the same change...

but I wouldnt get too excited or react quite yet... the commits last night were a test and we are discussing the current status... it has not been released into the wild yet, so things may or may not change... we will either use different template files (like now) or need to make more modifications to the list view class to use the same one...

bottom line, work in progress...

OK but where can I add the truncate command? As far as I'm concerned the appearance would be spot on for me with that. I like tinkering, if you do change well so what? I've been on this journey a while.....

copy the spSubscriptionsView.php template file in the subscriptions plugin to your sp theme template file directory and edit...  same for the spWatchesView.php template in the watches plugin...

Perfect thanks.

I don't see why you shouldn't just continue with things as they are, being able to copy the files into the theme templates works for me.
