This is not really making code changes. These are templates - just like WordPress uses. This is the only way to do it. Well - apart from allowing the forum to have a decent width on your page of course.
Just create a custom theme before you start so you donlt lose the changes during a future SP update:

Ah this. I believe you have another thread on this and we have already answered there. Please keep a question to one thread - it is much easier.
As we have both told you there is NOTHING TO FIX. I may as well say you fix it by giving the forum more width. For the last time - it is a template and you control how things display. That is the beauty of templates. You can do what you want with them.
It will take you a minute or so to set this up to fit your own, particular WP theme. It is not hard. It is not difficult.
