TinyMCE Editor not showing up

I installed the editor, but it is not showing up and there is nothing I can edit. What am I missing?

The first questions have to be did you install it correctly in the proper SP Plugins folder and then successfully activate it? And - if so - take a look at your SP Profile - Options - Post options to make sure it is selected as your preferred editor.

also make sure you have it selected for users in forum - options - global settings...  over in the Post Editing section...

Yes, I installed it and activated it and the option is with TinyMCE Editor as the default!

Wait, now I am confused. What is the difference between the first one and the second one? I only found the forum - options - global settings way to configure it.

each user in their profile can then choose which editor they want… so the first sets up which editors are available… then users can pick which one they like…

so check your sp profile, options, posting options on the front end and see which editor you have selected…

are you looking in the right place? Using the SP profile form? See the profile button beside the login button at the top of this forum? Go there and then select 'Options' from the tabs and then 'edit posting options' from the menu...

One more question though: how do I get the whole  editing toolbar to show up now?
