also make sure you have it selected for users in forum - options - global settings... over in the Post Editing section...

Wait, now I am confused. What is the difference between the first one and the second one? I only found the forum - options - global settings way to configure it.
each user in their profile can then choose which editor they want… so the first sets up which editors are available… then users can pick which one they like…
so check your sp profile, options, posting options on the front end and see which editor you have selected…
